You Rock - How to Bounce Back to High Productivity

Posted by Lucy Kovalova-Woods on Mar 16th 2023

Have you noticed how things how have slowed down? With so much stress surrounding us, it can be challenging to overcome fear. Our productivity wanes in the face of new complexities. They are leading us to be paralyzed by fear.

You are probably working remotely for an organization or as a freelancer. Across the board, freelancers agree their businesses have dwindled.

As with any business where people en masse are recalibrating their next moves, the new normal is constant innovation.

There are no guarantees.

The good news about the stress of conditions you can't seem to control is that you can control them. Now, you can be the master of your employment and income. This is not the time to absorb streaming channels or counting time until "normal" might emerge. We either reimagine our lives, or we become irrelevant.

It is time to bounce back and start constructing your new you. What could be more empowering than to seize this opportunity than cowering underneath it? In our recent book 'Peak Performance for everyone,' we clearly define the stages of a successful peak performance system. This means a place where you demonstrate initiative. You learn to change your state of being that does not succumb in the face of uncertainty. Where others may see fear, you are more pronounced in your choices as they define a new life driven by definiteness.

Reimagining our lives do not need to be complicated. Hard work in mastering ourselves? Absolutely!, Following our strategies can help you tremendously.

Here, I outline for you the elements you can improve to start this process:

1. Body. Your body is your temple. Frankly, no matter how hard you want to achieve something, if your body isn't properly taken care of and you are not following the diet, exercise, or medication recommended by your doctor, you'll eventually fall off the track. This is a systems approach where our habits build our productivity up.

2. Mind. Every time you think 'I cannot do it, because' or 'maybe later,' you are freezing your own mind's capabilities to perform at your best. Simply state with confidence:

  • I will achieve this
  • I will write a book
  • I will lose weight

I will start my own business and get 10k a month

3. Action. No matter how many times you have said to yourself, 'I will do ...', if you have not prepared a nimble strategy incorporating tasks that hold you accountable, you won't have meaningful productivity.

So what meaningful actions can you take right now to awaken you when everyone else is subdued in the fears of "I'll wait until tomorrow?"

Here are a few tips I've personally found effective:

  1. Start exercising again. You don't necessarily need a gym. There are many exercises you can do at home. Don't tell me you don't have a room. There are exercises you can do by sitting in your chair.
  2. Follow healthy eating habits and advice from your doctor
  3. Practice meditation and breathing exercises
  4. Read a book that inspires you to act.
  5. Define your goals. Have they changed under the circumstances or remained the same?
  6. Prepare a flexible strategy to achieve your goals. Forget a five-year plan. The world is too uncertain about writing plans in ink.
  7. Practice a time management technique. We have one that has been very effective for our clients.
  8. Incorporate up to four tasks a day into your schedule
  9. Practice persistence. Get up! Get up!
  10. Open the blinds and get moving no matter what.
  11. Do not permit anyone to determine how you are going to feel today.
  12. Incorporate self-motivational routines

Sounds easy? It can be when you become sick and tired of being sick and tired.
